iPowerboat is an established RYA and MCA STCW maritime training centre based in Ballachulish, Scotland, but travel all across the country delivering our well known and highly reputable training courses and services.


Many training schools like to sell courses, and so do we! However we like to go that extra mile with our customers. We are more than happy to sit down and look at your operations/boat use and how develop a training package that suits you. We cater for all different types of learning styles and abilities. No challenge is too great!


Our commercial maritime knowledge is all encompassing. iPowerboat currently offer advice to large multinational companies regarding their maritime operations.


Our approach to all aspects of the company, is presentable, professional, and passionate. We really do "think outside the box" when it comes to teaching new skills to students, and developing equipment to make to maritime world that little bit safer.

We can train colleagues at our centre based in Ballachulish, just south of Fort William, or we can come to your sites, and train your staff in your vessels - whatever suits you best.

Ryan founded the company back in 2011. Since then he has grown the company from being self employed to a limited company offering diverse training courses and creating unique training solutions for corporate clients.


Ryan currently deals with all corporate customer relations. Has developed bespoke training courses , and has personally trained a significant proportion of the aquaculture industry.

Stewart runs courses and skippers for iPowerboat on a freelance basis.

Stewart spends his spare time kayaking and assisting people to swim the length of Loch Lomond and Loch Ness!!

Kerry has been a part of the company since its inception and looks after the office based aspects with running a busy company.


Kerry is our Sales Office Manager, and will most likely be booking you onto our courses.

In her spare time, Chrisy likes to get out and explore Scotland's inland waterways.
